We held a webinar for our largest suppliers to raise awareness of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) and share how they can demonstrate their support.
Our objectives for this webinar included raising awareness of the UN SDGs amongst our most significant suppliers and sharing the findings of our research into the level of UN SDG commitment demonstrated by our major suppliers. We also wanted to encourage our suppliers to commit to supporting the UN SDGs and share knowledge and resources with them around how they can demonstrate this.
Sharing knowledge and guidance
You told us that you’d like to know more about the UN SDGs and the findings of our research into each company’s UN SDG commitment and awareness.
We will share the webinar materials with each of our suppliers, that make up 80% of our annual expenditure in 2022/23, as well as share the findings of our research individually with each supplier. We will also then sign post suppliers to where they can access guidance for free.
